We are actively seeking a dependable and dynamic Pharmacist (PRN) to become a key player in our healthcare team!
As a Pharmacist (PRN), you will play a critical role in enhancing patient care by interpreting symptoms, delivering immediate treatments, and effectively referring patients to the right physician when necessary. You will also ensure the safe preparation of pharmaceuticals by carefully reviewing and interpreting physicians’ directives while identifying any potential therapeutic incompatibilities.
**To succeed in this role, you must have a strong customer focus and an eagerness to stay at the forefront of pharmaceutical advancements.
****Key Responsibilities:**
- Compounding and Dispensing: Prepare and dispense medications precisely as prescribed by physicians.
- Patient Care: Monitor patients' drug therapies, recommend interventions, and clearly communicate potential side effects.
- Education: Instruct patients on the correct usage and timing of their prescribed medications.
- Health Screenings: Conduct comprehensive health and wellness screenings.
- Medical Services: Provide immunizations and essential medical services, including monitoring blood pressure, temperature, and blood sugar levels.
- Record Management: Maintain meticulous and accurate customer records. Work Environment: Uphold a safe and clean pharmacy environment.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure all pharmacy operations are flawless, including verifying order entries, managing controlled substances, and promptly removing expired or damaged medications.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all legal regulations and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
- Administrative Support: Perform necessary administrative tasks as needed to support pharmacy operations.
**Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree in pharmacy or pharmacology.
- Proven experience or recent graduation as a pharmacist, demonstrating a solid foundation in pharmaceutical practice.
- Valid pharmacy license to practice without restrictions.
- In-depth knowledge of dosage requirements, pharmaceutical brands, and chemical compounds.
- Proficiency in computer skills and exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication abilities.
